Le nom et l’étiquette font référence à Jean-Antoine Amé-Noel qui, en 1830, acquit le domaine Bologne.
Selon une légende, ce pécheur aurait auparavant découvert un trésor grâce à son vaisseau aux voiles noires. C’est grâce à ce trésor qu’il aurait ensuite pu acquérir Bologne.
