La Progresiva est un assemblage de rhums de mélasse cubains, né de la distillerie Vigia. Cette collaboration entre The Island Rum Company et le gouvernement cubain est une première depuis 20 ans !
Il s’agit d’une « mezcla », c’est à dire d’un assemblage d’aguardientes et d’alcool de canne distillés en colonne en cuivre. Tous les distillats sont vieillis en fût de bourbon, avec un âge moyen de 13 ans.
